Rockwall has some exciting events going on in this up-and-coming lake-front community on Lake Ray Hubbard! You may know where Rockwall gets it’s name…but if not, you will want to read the news post below on the Rock “Wall” of this lakeside city in DFW. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2015/07/17/the-rock-wall-of-rockwall-texas/
There’s also news of new parks and additions to parks which will allow persons who are handicapped or have physical limitations to enjoy a day at the lake as well! Phelps Lake Park in Rockwall and Yellowjacket Park now are encompassing the theme of a “barrier-free park” which will enable children and adults who are in wheelchairs to enjoy a day out. Having a child with such limitations myself, I can greatly appreciate what Rockwall is doing to make the lake more enjoyable for everyone. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2015/07/17/unique-rockwall-parks-built-to-accomodate-everyone/
